In September we welcomed an amazing little bunny to our family. We had considered and discussed welcoming a little house rabbit to our home for a while and a few months ago we popped into the pet shop to pick up supplies when I locked eyes with this little guy. He continued to run back and forth watching me the whole time I was there and came straight over as soon as I approached him. As soon as I picked him up and he snuggled in I knew that he was meant to be a part of our wee family and as they say the rest is history.
Since then this little bundle of fur has made himself right at home. He loves to sit with us on the sofa, enjoys clattering about my desk while I’m working (mostly trying to nibble my booking diary) or can be found snuggled up with Teddy the dog who is a big fan of the latest family member.
We soon realised it was time to get Bobby bunny a wee friend and, since it's Valentine's Day it seemed like the perfect time to introduce Maud!
To say it was love at first sight would be an understatement. Maud is such a sweet girl who is shy and just loves being cuddled. Bobby, on the other hand, is super adventurous and is always off exploring or getting into mischief but Maud has such a calming impact on him and he can now often be found grooming his wee friend or snuggled up with her.
This perfect pair have joined me to visit a few nursing homes and day centres over the last few weeks and they have stolen everyone’s hearts.
