A few weeks ago we announced that Holly the long-eared hedgehog had welcomed her first two babies on Christmas Day!
The little hoglets are doing so well. Their eyes opened last week and since then they have been starting to explore their new home with mum, Holly!
I have been gradually starting to handle the hoglets and give Holly a little bit of a break! It has been amazing to see their little personalities developing.
Holly arrived at Wee Critters from Longleat this past Autumn and joined our male, Henry (who many of you have met during our interactive animal education sessions).
We will continue to update you with photos and videos of Holly and the hoglets over the next few weeks and hopefully, in the future, this prickly little pair will take part in our sessions to deliver important environmental education messages to schools and groups across Northern Ireland!
